What is Classmates.ie?
Classmates.ie is a free website dedicated to putting you back in touch with your old school friends.

How does it work?
Simply log on to Classmates.ie, find your school and register.

What information do I need to provide?
Just your name, e-mail address, the school attended and the year you left. Of course you can also add a few lines on what you have been doing since school and even upload a few photos if you like.

What happens then?
Once registered, you can see which of your old pals have also joined, read what they have been up to and even leave them a message.

What if no one from my class has registered yet?
Don't worry, you can opt to receive an e-mail each time someone from your old school joins.

Will someone know that I have checked their profile?
No, Classmates.ie is completely confidential - no one will see you've checked their profile.

Is my school already listed?
Almost certainly. There are over 6000 schools in Ireland listed, including all the current ones plus many more that no longer exist.

Will my e-mail address be displayed on the site?
No, e-mail address are never revealed to other members or to third parties. When another member wants to get in contact with you, they simply send a message through the site. Classmates.ie then sends you an email to say that a message is waiting for you to view the next time you log back in to the site.

Who uses the site?
Everyone and anyone - there are people as young as 18 and as old as 84 years registered.

How much does it cost?
Classmates.ie is an entirely free website.
